KENNEBUNK — Police in Kennebunk are looking for assistance from the public regarding an assault investigation stemming from an alleged incident in the town on June 18.
Kennebunk police officers responded to the parking lot of Federal Jack’s Restaurant and Brew Pub for a reported fight in progress during the early morning hours of Sunday, June 18, according to a press release issued by police.
The initial investigation led to the identity of one of the involved parties — who was ultimately transported to a local hospital for injuries sustained in the altercation, according to police.
It is believed that others involved in the incident and other witnesses to the incident left prior to police arriving on scene, according to the press release.
Police are asking anyone who has information regarding the incident, or can assist in the identification of the other participant, to contact Kennebunk Police Detective Steve Borst at 604-1319.
