Haley Lowell of Messalonskee High in Oakland and Sydney Meader of Boothbay have been named finalists for the Miss Maine Field Hockey award, given to the state’s top senior player.

Lowell, a midfielder who has committed to Boston University, recorded seven goals, three assists and one defensive save this season.

Meader, a forward who has committed to the University of Maine, scored 38 goals and added three assists. She finished her career with a school-record 86 goals.

The winner will be announced at the Maine Field Hockey Association banquet on Dec. 3 at the Augusta Civic Center.

The MFHA will also induct two members into its Hall of Fame: Madeleine Goulet, the former Biddeford High coach who led the Tigers to their only Class A state championship in 1990; and Lisa Densmore, a former player at Gardiner High and UMaine.
