BRUNSWICK

A 25-year-old Brunswick man was indicted on a trio of charges stemming from the alleged assault of a woman in her home.

Justin M. Hart is charged with aggravated assault, criminal restraint and obstructing the report of a crime. He remains in custody at Cumberland County Jail on $5,000 cash bail and is scheduled to appear in court again Dec. 14 for an arraignment date.

According to a police narrative filed in Cumberland County Unified Court, a physical altercation followed a verbal argument.

According to court records, on Oct. 1, Brunswick Police Officer Kerry Wolongevicz was dispatched to interview the alleged victim, after a domestic disturbance was reported to police.

Wolongevicz observed that she had a laceration to her head, marks on her neck, and a bite mark on her finger, according to court records.

The victim also told police Hart prevented her from calling for help.

The victim declined medical attention.

Hart faces up to 10 years in prison for the aggravated assault charge, a Class B felony.
