BATH — In loving memory, Our Beloved Sister Stephanie Theresa passed away September 26, 2017. Born May 29, 1948, the eldest daughter, of seven children, to Carl and Emily Erlebach of Bath.

Theresa attended Bath schools. She loved spending time with family and friends, going to picnics, BBQ’s, writing songs, dancing, concerts, swimming at Popham, Reid and Belgrade Lakes. Theresa was up for most everything at anytime!

Being the oldest, she helped raise her three youngest siblings. During high school she worked at Stinson Canning Co. in Bath, the former Ledges Inn in Wiscasset and Jay Brush in Brunswick.

She married Melvin B. Gaston in 1976 and together they raised their beautiful daughter Christy Nadine in Portsmouth, NH. Melvin worked at the Morley Co. and Theresa at the Rockingham Hotel and Data General before retiring from a 20- year career as Head of Housekeeping at Portsmouth Regional Hospital.

Sadly, Melvin passed away in 1995 from a strong battle with cancer.

Our Beacon of Light kept going with the love of her Christy Nadine and being together with family and friends.

Theresa was always there with her Larger than Life personality, making us LAUGH TIL IT HURT!

She still kept us going with her laughter and Amazing Grace through a courageous fight with kidney and liver failure.

Forever, Her Great Spirit lives on in our aching hearts, And brings comfort knowing she is , at last, Home with Family, All watching over us.

A tremendous THANK YOU to her doctors and nurses and especially CHANS HOSPICE of Brunswick.
