Brunswick police are investigating two commercial burglaries they believe may be related.

The first burglary was reported at Chad Little Outdoor Power Equipment on Pleasant Street Sunday morning after an alarm was triggered just before 6:30 a.m.

Cmdr. Mark Waltz said police believe the burglary occurred between 5:45-6:30 a.m. Sunday, when someone forced their way into the building.

A second burglary was reported just after 7 a.m. on Monday at Taylor Rental Center on Bath Road. Waltz said someone forced their way into the store sometime between 8 p.m. on Sunday and 7 a.m. Monday.

Waltz said police have a suspect they believe was involved in both burglaries. Police are still investigating to determine exactly what was taken from both businesses.
