LUBBOCK, Texas — Keenan Evans scored 20 points, Brandone Francis had a career-high 17 and No. 8 Texas Tech beat second-ranked West Virginia 72-71 on Saturday.

Evans hit a lean-in jumper to give the Red Raiders (15-2, 4-1 Big 12) a four-point lead over the Mountaineers (15-2, 4-1) in the final minute. West Virginia had its nation-leading 15-game winning streak stopped.

MICHIGAN 82, (4) MICHIGAN STATE 72: Moritz Wagner scored a career-high 27 points, lifting Michigan (15-4, 4-2 Big Ten) over Michigan State (16-3, 4-2) at East Lansing, Michigan.

(5) PURDUE 81, MINNESOTA 47: Vincent Edwards scored 25 points in 29 minutes on 9-of-14 shooting and Purdue (17-2, 6-0 Big Ten) beat Minnesota (13-6, 2-4) at Minneapolis for its 13th consecutive victory.

(5) WICHITA STATE 72, TULSA 69: Landry Shamet and backcourt mate Conner Frankamp each scored 16 points as visiting Wichita State (14-2, 5-0 American Athletic) held off Tulsa (10-8, 3-3).

(11) ARIZONA STATE 77, OREGON STATE 75: Shannon Evans scored seven of his 22 points in a late 10-0 run and Arizona State (14-3, 2-3 Pac-12) held off Oregon State (10-7, 2-3) at Tempe, Arizona.

(12) KANSAS 73, KANSAS STATE 72: Devonte Graham had 23 points, Malik Newman hit two foul shots with 15 seconds left and Kansas (14-3, 4-1 Big 12) held off Kansas State (12-5, 2-3) at Lawrence, Kansas.

(13) SETON HALL 74, GEORGETOWN 61: Desi Rodriguez and Myles Powell each scored 19 points to lead Seton Hall (15-3, 4-1 Big East) over Georgetown (12-5, 2-4) at Newark, New Jersey.

(1) CONNECTICUT 95, HOUSTON 35: Reserve Azura Stevens had 19 points and 10 rebounds to lead four players in double-figure scoring, and visiting UConn (15-0, 5-0 American Athletic) used a strong defensive effort to rout Houston (14-5, 3-2).
