BIDDEFORD — Biddeford High opened the second half on a 15-0 run with all its points resulting from interior shots and then buried Scarborough with five 3-pointers in the fourth quarter to post an emphatic 68-39 interclass win Monday afternoon at Tiger Gym.

Cody Saucier led Biddeford, now 6-3 in Class A South, with 23 points and five 3-pointers. Kyle Norton scored nine of the Tigers’ first 11 points of the game when they set the tone with a 14-3 run. He finished with 19 points. DeSean Cromwell scored nine of his 11 points in the second half.

Class AA Scarborough had won six straight game games but was outscored by Biddeford 41-15 in the second half.

Scarborough, which had won six straight, is 8-3 in Class AA South. Brian Austin led Scarborough with 13 points. Morgan Pratt and Nick Fiorillo each scored six.
