STANDISH — Mackenzie Emery scored 22 points Monday as Bonny Eagle sent Marshwood to its first SMAA girls’ basketball loss of the season, 49-44.

Emery was 7 of 10 from the foul line in the final period for the Scots (7-3), who took a 28-23 haftime lead and went on to their fifth consecutive victory.

Deirdre Sanborn added eight points for Bonny Eagle.

Miranda Montgomery led Marshwood (10-1) with eight points.

PORTLAND 49, LEWISTON 26: Gemima Motema had 17 points, seven rebounds, and three steals, and Davina Kabantu added 17 points to lead the Bulldogs (7-3) past the Blue Devils (4-7) at Portland.

Victoria Harris had a team-high 10 points for Lewiston.

Shayla Eubanks had seven points and seven rebounds for Portland. Motema was disruptive on defense with eight steals.

CHEVERUS 55, SANFORD 43: Lauren Jordan had 18 points, including 8 of 10 from the line, to lead the Stags (7-4), who opened with a 19-9 first quarter and extended their lead to 31-18 at halftime against the Spartans (2-9) at Portland.

Emme Poulin added 16 points for Cheverus,

Samya Santiague led Sanford with 15 points.

SCARBOROUGH 41, BIDDEFORD 28: Sophie Glidden scored 18 points as the Red Storm (7-3) pulled away in the fourth quarter to defeat the Tigers (3-8) at Scarborough.

Leading by just two entering the fourth quarter, Scarborough outscored Biddeford 12-1 in the fourth. Grace Martin scored a game-high 23 points for the Tigers.

LINCOLN ACADEMY 57, CAMDEN HILLS 51: Eleanor Matthews scored 19 points for the Eagles (5-6), who used a 12-4 run in the second quarter to take a 23-17 halftime lead against the Windjammers (1-9) at Newcastle.

Anna Hatch had 12 points and Kaitlyn Feltis tossed in 10 for Lincoln.

Lauren Miller led Camden Hills with 15 points.

MAINE GIRLS’ ACADEMY 64, KENNEBUNK 35: Serena Mower scored 12 points, Jill Joyce 11 and Catherine Reid 10 as the Lions (9-0) downed the Rams (5-5) at Kennebunk.

Maine Girls’ Academy built a 33-14 halftime lead.

OLD ORCHARD BEACH 41, SACOPEE VALLEY 28: Brianna Plante scored nine points and Emily Greenlee added eight for the Seagulls (8-2), who pulled away in the fourth quarter to defeat the Hawks (1-10) at South Hiram.

Haiden Sawyer had nine points and Kylie Day added eight for Sacopee.

BOOTHBAY REGION 55, MOUNTAIN VALLEY 26: Faith Blethen scored 24 points and Page Brown added 14 to lead the Seahawks (11-0) over Mountain Valley (8-3) at Boothbay Harbor.

Rylee Sevigny topped the Falcons with 10 points.

DIRIGO 35, WISCASSET 33: Sophia Jacques scored 14 points to lead the Cougars (2-9) over Wiscasset (0-11) at Dixfield.

Lindsey Gordon scored nine for the Wolverines.

GREELY 51, YARMOUTH 38: Camille Clement scored 23 points and Brooke Obar added 19 as Greely (10-2) beat the Clippers (5-6) at Yarmouth.

Clementine Blaschke led Yarmouth with 14 points.

The Rangers led 20-17 at the half and 39-28 after three quarters.

YORK 66, MORSE 28: Nina Howe scored 14 points and Kristen Leroux 13, leading the Wildcats (6-4) over Morse (2-8) at York.

Sierra Wallace led the Shipbuilders with eight points.

HOCKEY

GREELY 5, YORK 1: Bridget Roberts had a pair of third-period goals for Greely/Gray-New Gloucester (12-1), which built a 5-0 lead and defeated York/Traip Academy (4-10) at Dover, New Hampshire.

Courtney Sullivan had a first-period goal from Leah Walker and Madison Pelletier added a goal from Brooke Clement as Greely took a 2-0 lead through two periods.

Roberts’ first goal came 1:40 into the third, Hannah Campbell scored from Walker with 3:31 to play and Roberts added her second of the game from Camillia Lattanzi 15 seconds later.

CAPE ELIZABETH 3, PORTLAND/DEERING 2: Nicoletta Coupe scored her second goal of the game with 4:21 left as Cape Elizabeth/Waynflete/South Portland (7-5) beat the Bulldogs (10-4) at Portland.

After Kit Rosmus gave Portland/Deering a 1-0 lead in the first period, Coupe tied it five minutes into the second, only to have Caroline Lerch reinstate the Bulldogs’ lead 1:10 later. Sophia Vendetti made it 2-2 with 5:28 left before the break.

SCARBOROUGH 7, FALMOUTH 2: Paige Spooner had two goals and two assists, and Lucy Bogdanovich also scored twice as the Red Storm (4-7-1) downed the Yachtsmen (3-7-1) at Falmouth.

Taylor Veilleux added a goal and an assist, and Courtney Brochu and Logan Bruns also scored for Scarborough.
