OAKLAND — Charlotte MacMillan had 27 points, five rebounds and four steals, and Brunswick steadily pulled away to a 55-43 victory over Messalonskee on Friday night in a rematch of last season’s Class A girls’ basketball final.

Marley Groat added 10 points and dished out eight assists for Brunswick, which improved to 11-0. The Dragons led 32-26 at halftime.

Gabrielle Wener paced Messalonskee (8-4) with 13 points.

SOUTH PORTLAND 49, DEERING 40: The Red Riots (10-0) led 13-2 after the first quarter and held on to defeat the Rams (4-7) in South Portland.

Meghan Graff led South Portland with 18 points. Margaret Whitmore added 15.

Delaney Haines scored 16 points for Deering.

POLAND 52, LAKE REGION 36: Nathalie Theriault and Jessica Seeley combined for 18 first-half points as the Knights (9-3) took a 26-18 lead over the Lakers (9-4) at Naples.

Theriault finished with 20 points, Seeley ended up with 13, and Alexandria Grondin added 10.

Chandler True and Melissa Bonenfant each had eight points for Lake Region.

BONNY EAGLE 49, SANFORD 38: Deirdre Sanborn scored 18 points, and the Scots (8-3) used a 21-4 advantage in the fourth quarter to get by the Spartans (3-10) in Sanford.

Julia Allen and Megan O’Connell each scored 11 for Sanford, which led 34-28 after three quarters.

Samantha Averill added 13 for Bonny Eagle.

BOOTHBAY 79, SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 49: Page Brown scored 29 points and Faith Blethen added 26 to lead the Seahawks (13-0) over the Phoenix (6-7) in Boothbay Harbor.

Boothbay raced out to a 25-9 lead in the first quarter and led 46-21 at the half.

Haley Turcotte scored 20 points and connected on four 3-pointers for Spruce Mountain.

KENNEBUNK 52, NOBLE 47: Emily Archibald had 19 points and 18 rebounds as the Rams (6-5) held off the Knights (1-9) in Kennebunk.

Alaina Schatzabel added 13 points and 10 rebounds for Kennebunk, which led 40-24 heading into the fourth.

Amy Fleming scored 21 points for Noble. Raegan Kelly added 18.

OLD ORCHARD BEACH 56, NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 34: The Seagulls (9-2) used a 16-9 third quarter to break open a game they led 26-19 against the Panthers (6-7) at Yarmouth.

Emily Greenlee had 13 points to lead a balanced offense for Old Orchard. Shani Plante hit four 3-pointers for 12 points.

Kate Larson led NYA with 12 points.

FREEPORT 46, YARMOUTH 36: Alexandra Goodman scored 10 of her 16 points in the third quarter as the Falcons (9-2) pulled away from the Clippers (5-8) in Yarmouth.

Freeport had a 14-9 advantage in the third quarter, taking a 30-25 lead.

Caroline Smith added 11 points for the Clippers. Taylor Rinaldi chipped in with 10.

Clementine Blaschke scored 12 points to lead Yarmouth.

SCARBOROUGH 52, MASSABESIC 27: Sophie Glidden scored 17 points, Madison Blanche added 15, and the Red Storm (8-3) downed the Mustangs (2-9) in Waterboro.

Isabella Dickinson added eight points for Scarborugh, which led 24-11 at halftime.

McKenzy Ouellette scored 10 points for Massabesic.

GORHAM 45, THORNTON ACADEMY 30: Mackenzie Holmes scored 15 of her 26 points in the second half, and the Rams (7-5) used an 18-7 third-quarter edged to get past the Trojans (4-6) in Gorham.

Adele Nadeau added nine points for Gorham, which led 35-22 going into the fourth quarter.

TRAIP ACADEMY 53, WAYNFLETE 40: Reilly Eddy scored nine of her game-high 24 points in the third quarter as the Rangers (5-7) took control against the Flyers (5-6) in Kittery.

Traip outscored Waynflete 24-9 in the third to open a 44-25 lead.

Cassidy Delano added 14 points for the Rangers.

Lydia Giguere scored 14 points to pace Waynflete.

WINDHAM 50, WESTBROOK 26: Meghan Hoffses scored 17 points, Hannah Talon added 12 and the Eagles (6-5) jumped out to a 25-8 halftime lead in a win over the Blue Blazes (2-8) in Windham.

YORK 43, CAPE ELIZABETH 33: Nina Howe led the Wildcats (7-4) with 14 points and Lauren Leroux added eight in a win over the Capers (4-7) at Cape Elizabeth.

Kortney McKenna added 10 points for Lincoln Academy.
