I have been closely following the interviews with and votes and comments of our hardworking and well-liked Sen. Susan Collins. But, at the same time, I’ve also been observing the reaction of Maine voters to things related to the senator’s choices. Certain groups (mostly the protest-happy) will turn on her most easily.
Sen. Collins is loyal and faithful: to her duties, to Maine citizens and to the American public. Those on the far left cannot tolerate anyone who disagrees with them. These people are intolerant and sometimes disrespectful.
Sen. Collins gives every vote a slow, methodical evaluation.
