DETROIT — A person with knowledge of the deal says the Detroit Pistons are finalizing a trade to acquire star forward Blake Griffin from the Los Angeles Clippers.

The person spoke Monday night on condition of anonymity because the trade has not been announced. The Pistons would send forward Tobias Harris, guard Avery Bradley and center Boban Marjanovic to Los Angeles, with the Clippers also receiving draft picks. Detroit also would receive forward Brice Johnson and center Willie Reed.

ESPN first reported the deal.

Griffin is averaging 22.6 points, 7.9 rebounds and 5.4 assists in 33 games this season, but the Clippers have been plagued by injuries and were ninth in the West standings as of Monday night.

Detroit’s playoff hopes have dipped as well. The Pistons have lost eight straight heading into Tuesday night’s game against Cleveland.

BUCKS: Forward Jabari Parker is set to return to the court Friday against the New York Knicks, nearly a year after being sidelined with the second major left knee injury of his career.

Parker tore his left ACL on Feb. 8, 2017, against Miami. At the time, he was averaging a career-high 20.1 points and 6.2 rebounds as one of the franchise cornerstones.

MONDAY’S GAMES

PACERS 105, HORNETS 96: Victor Oladipo scored 25 points, Myles Turner added 22 and Indiana pulled away late for a victory over Charlotte in Indianapolis.

The Pacers have won two in a row and 4 of 5.

Kemba Walker finished with 23 points and a trio of 3-pointers to lead the Hornets.

HAWKS 105, TIMBERWOLVES 100: Kent Bazemore scored 22 points, including a tie-breaking 3-pointer with 2:09 remaining, and Atlanta rallied after trailing by 11 in the third quarter to win at home.

Bazemore’s clutch 3 gave the Hawks a 99-96 lead they did not relinquish. He added a blocked shot following a steal by Minnesota’s Jeff Teague and another basket to stretch the lead back to three.
