AUBURN — Hannah Chaput scored 17 points and Jade Perry and Grace Beaudet each had nine points as Edward Little handed South Portland its first girls’ basketball loss this season, 45-44.

Margaret Whitmore had 13 points and Kathryn Whitmore added 10 points for South Portland (14-1), which outscored Edward Little 24-18 in the second half.

The Red Eddies are 10-5.

YORK 46, FREEPORT 45: Nina Howe scored a game-high 23 points as the Wildcats (8-6) held on to beat the Falcons (12-3) in York.

York led 33-23 at halftime.

Alexandra Goodman scored 12 points for Freeport. Jessica Driscoll added 10.

CHEVERUS 45, NOBLE 43: Emme Poulin scored 26 points with six rebounds and three steals, and the Stags (9-5) held off the Knights (2-12) in North Berwick.

Michaela Jordan added six points and 13 rebounds for Cheverus, which led 37-23 heading into the fourth.

Amy Fleming scored 12 points with five rebounds, and five steals for Noble. Tori Exell added 11 points and seven rebounds.

MARSHWOOD 42, FALMOUTH 28: Miranda Montgomery scored 15 points and the Hawks (14-1), who led 23-9 at the half, beat the Yachtsmen (4-11) in Falmouth.

Allison Cunningham and Grace Dimick each scored eight points for Falmouth.

GORHAM 59, WESTBROOK 29: McKenzie Holmes scored a game-high 26 points as the Rams (9-6) cruised past the Blue Blazes (2-12) in Westbrook.

Logan Tibbetts scored 11 points to lead Westbrook.

SCARBOROUGH 58, LEWISTON 49: The Red Storm (12-3) led 48-29 after three quarters and held off the Blue Devils (6-9) in Scarborough.

Madison Blanche connected on five 3-pointers and scored 19 points to lead Scarborough. Sophie Glidden added 16 points.

Jordyn Rubin scored 11 points for Lewiston.

KENNEBUNK 56, BIDDEFORD 46: Emily Archibald had 18 points, 20 rebounds and five assists as the Rams (8-7) jumped ahead early to defeat the Tigers (4-10) at Kennebunk.

Biddeford’s Grace Martin finished with 23 points.

Jessica Dupler and Alaina Schatzabel each scored 12 points for Kennebunk.

OXFORD HILLS 58, WINDHAM 48: The Vikings (12-3) used a 32-19 second-half advantage to rally and defeat the Eagles (7-7) in Windham.

Jadah Adams made nine free throws and scored 19 points for Oxford Hills, which hit 23 free throws as a team. Maighread Laliberte added 16 points.

Meghan Hoffses scored 17 points for Windham.

MT. ARARAT 66, CAMDEN HILLS 52: Kyla Greenleaf hit three 3-pointers and scored 21 points to lead the Eagles (4-11) over the Windjammers (3-11) in Rockport.

Ainsley Bryant added 17 points and five assists for Mt. Ararat.

Miae DeWaard scored 27 points for Camden Hills.

GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 57, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 23: Brianna Jordan scored 11 of her game-high 19 points in the second quarter as the Patriots (11-4) beat the Raiders (0-15) in Fryeburg.

Jordan Grant added 14 points for Gray-New Gloucester.

Tina LeBlanc scored eight points for Fryeburg.

NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 57, BUCKFIELD 31: Helen Hamblett scored 16 points to lead the Panthers (10-6) over the Bucks (1-14) in Yarmouth.

Lincoln Hamblett and Margaret Larson each added 10 points for North Yarmouth Academy.

MAINE GIRLS’ ACADEMY 48, MASSABESIC 43: Catherine Reid led the Lions (12-2) with a game-high 18 points, and Katherine Fitzpatrick added 10 points and four rebounds in a win over the Mustangs (2-13) at Portland.

Massabesic’s McKenzy Ouellette scored 16 points.

Reid also grabbed six rebounds and had five assists as MGA overcame a 25-22 first-half deficit.

MARANACOOK 48, MORSE 40: Gabby Green scored 12 points, Anna Drillen added 11 and the Black Bears (4-11) beat the Shipbuilders (3-12) in Bath.

Sierra Wallace scored 14 points for Morse.

BRUNSWICK 63, LINCOLN ACADEMY 25: The Dragons (15-0) led 38-8 at the half and defeated the Eagles (8-7) in Brunswick.

Charlotte MacMillan scored 18 points with four assists and four steals to lead Brunswick.

Madeline York scored eight points for Lincoln Academy.

GREELY 71, CAPE ELIZABETH 28: Anna DeWolfe scored 21 points and the Rangers (14-2) jumped to a 37-9 lead at halftime en route to a win over the Capers (6-9) in Cape Elizabeth.

Erin O’Rourke scored 19 points, hitting three 3-pointers for Cape Elizabeth.

RANGELEY 49, PINE TREE ACADEMY 10: Natasha Haley earned a double-double, scoring 19 points and grabbing 14 rebounds, to lead the Lakers at Central Maine Community College in Auburn.

Brooke Egan added eight points for Rangeley (13-2). Kylie Collins had six steals.

Adrianna DePalma scored six points for Pine Tree (3-11).

TEMPLE ACADEMY 44, FOREST HILLS 35: Deleyni Carr scored 22 points to lead the Bereans to a win over the Tigers in Waterville.

Olivia Baker added eight points for Temple (9-6).

Alexandra Lessard scored 10 points for Forest Hills (5-11). Demi Giroux added eight points.

HOCKEY

WINSLOW/GARDINER 7, MT. ARARAT/MORSE 3: Julia Hinkley had three goals as Winslow/Gardiner (10-6-1) downed Mt. Ararat/Morse (2-15) in Hallowell.

Amber Card, Ema Hawkes and Maddie Young scored, and Lily Schenk made 23 saves for Mt. Ararat/Morse.

GREELY 7, YARMOUTH 1: Courtney Sullivan scored three goals and Jayme Morrison had four assists as Greely/Gray-New Gloucester (14-2) beat Yarmouth/Freeport (3-13-1) at Family Ice Center in Falmouth.

Madison Pelletier added two goals for Greely, which took a 6-1 lead after two periods.

Sophie McGrath scored midway through the first period from Paige Caufield for Yarmouth.
