FALMOUTH — The Cumberland County Teachers Credit Union at 101 Gray Road in West Falmouth was robbed in the early afternoon on Wednesday, Jan. 31.

Authorities are seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect, who is described as a white male, approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall, 160 pounds and wearing dark clothing and a black knit hat.

Police Lt. John Kilbride said the robbery occurred at 12:05 p.m. and the suspect did not display a weapon. He demanded cash and fled on foot, Kilbride said. He would not disclose how much was stolen, but said the amount would not trigger an FBI investigation.

The suspect was last seen running north on Gray Road toward the Mountain Road intersection, according to Kilbride. Falmouth police can be reached at 781-2300.
