WINDHAM — Nick Curtis went past the 1,000-point mark for his career and finished with 29 points and seven assists Saturday, leading Windham to a 75-33 victory over Lewiston in a Class AA North boys’ basketball game.

Windham (11-5) took control early, leading 18-0 after the first quarter and 37-12 at halftime. Curtis got his 1,000th point in the fourth quarter.

Mike Gilman added 21 points and three steals.

Garret Poussard, Hassan Hussein and Khadar Heban each scored six points for Lewiston (2-15).

MASSABESIC 59, DEERING 51: Ethan Roy and Issac DesVergnes combined for 13 points in the fourth quarter as the Mustangs (4-12) used a 23-15 scoring advantage to beat the Rams (7-9) in Waterboro.

DesVergnes and Alex Schepis each finished with 18 points, and Roy added 10.

Darryl Germain led Deering with 15 points. Caleb Delano and Blaze Vail chipped in with 12.

WAYNFLETE 77, A.R. GOULD 44: Musaid Mohammed scored 11 of his 19 points in the first quarter to start the Flyers (14-3) on their way to a win over the Bears (13-4) in Portland.

Diraige Dahia contributed 16 points, Alex Saade had 13, Scott Finn tossed in 11 and Dominick Campbell added 10.

Alex Shoreas led A.R. Gould with 16 points. Ernest Lorange finished with 13.

BOOTHBAY 63, LISBON 44: Steve Reny scored 18 points to lead the Seahawks (12-5) over the Greyhounds (8-9) in Boothbay Harbor.

Boothbay used an 18-8 second-quarter advantage to build a 35-22 lead. Elijah Gudroe scored 16 points for the Seahawks, and Hunter Crocker added seven points and 14 rebounds.

DJ Douglass scored 15 points for Lisbon.

RANGELEY 83, GREATER PORTLAND CHRISTIAN 46: Kenny Thompson scored 23 points to lead the Lakers (9-7) to a win over the Lions (0-12) in Rangeley.

Will Brey scored 16 points, while Kyle LaRochelle added 15.

Mason Jones led GPCS with 29 points.

CARRABEC 52, MADISON 46: Evan Holzworth scored 19 points to lead the Cobras (6-11) past the Bulldogs (9-9) in Madison.

Dylan Willette contributed 15 points and Alex Stafford added 12 for Carrabec.

HALL-DALE 68, RICHMOND 67: Alec Byron made a driving layup at the buzzer as the Bulldogs (17-1) ended their regular season with a dramatic win over the Bobcats (13-4) in Farmingdale.

With his team trailing by a point and inbounding the ball under its own basket, Byron took a pass near midcourt and drove in for the winning shot.

Zach Small’s jumper had given Richmond a 67-66 lead. Small finished with 31 points.

GIRLS’ BASKETBALL

MAINE GIRLS’ ACADEMY 36, DEERING 28: Katie Fitzpatrick scored 10 points to lead the visiting Lions (13-3) over the Rams (7-10) in Portland.

Neither team made a basket in the first quarter, which ended with MGA ahead 3-0. The Lions were up 10-5 at halftime.

Delaney Haines scored 11 points for Deering.

SEACOAST CHRISTIAN 46, VALLEY 41: Abby Wirling scored 13 points to lead the Guardians (8-9) to a win in Bingham.

Courtney Williams added 10 points.

Kendra Sweet scored 20 points for Valley (5-11), while Jillian Miller chipped in with 10.

KENTS HILL 36, HYDE 26: Tiffany McGhie scored 17 points for the Huskies (11-5) in a win over the Phoenix (4-11) in Kents Hill.

Lauren Murray and Jarni Hewins added six points apiece.

Maeve Dunn scored 19 points, including five 3-pointers, to lead Hyde.

RICHMOND 36, HALL-DALE 28: Caitlin Kendrick scored 12 points and grabbed 13 rebounds as the Bobcats (12-5) defeated the Bulldogs (5-12) in Farmingdale.

Sydney Tilton added 12 points for Richmond.

Kayla Searles led Hall-Dale with 10 points. Sabrina Freeman scored five points and had 10 rebounds.

TEMPLE ACADEMY 40, NORTH HAVEN 26: Selam Heinrich scored 17 points to lead the Bereans (11-6) to a win over the Hawks (2-12) in North Haven.

Temple also got seven points from Daphne Labbe and six from Deleyni Carr.

Mercedes Sparhawk led North Haven with 18 points.

BOYS’ HOCKEY

FALMOUTH 3, LEWISTON 1: Theo Hembre capped a hat trick with an empty-net goal and Marcus Cady broke a 1-1 tie late in the second period as the Yachtsmen (9-5-1) beat the Blue Devils (12-2) at Family Ice Center.

CAPE ELIZABETH 3, YARMOUTH 3: Gavin Simopolous scored with 24 seconds remaining in the third period as Cape Elizabeth (11-2-2) rallied for a tie at Yarmouth (6-4-2).

All six goals were in the third period. Dominic Morrill put Yarmouth ahead with 1:09 left in regulation. Joe Truesdale and John Decker also scored for the Clippers, and Alex Glidden and Sean Agrondia each got a goal for Cape Elizabeth.

CAMDEN HILLS 3, HOULTON 1: Thomas Griebel scored in the first period and assisted on a goal by Bryce Tyler later in the period as Camden Hills (6-6) beat Houlton/Hodgdon/Southern Aroostook/Katahdin (4-8-1) in Rockport.

Liam Haining also scored for the Windjammers.

CHEVERUS 5, MASSABESIC 0: Justin Ray scored twice, and Colby Anton and Lukas Church each had a goal and two assists as the Stags (10-2-1) beat Massabesic/Bonny Eagle/Old Orchard Beach (3-10) at Troubh Ice Arena.

Cheverus took a 2-0 lead in the second period on goals by Ray and Jackson Wilson.

Jason Halverson made 20 saves for the shutout. Bryson Pomerleau had 21 saves for Massabesic.

WINDHAM 4, LAWRENCE 1: Cam Morrison scored the go-ahead goal 6:27 into the third period as Windham/Westbrook (3-8) beat Lawrence/Skowhegan (0-11) at USM Ice Arena.

Derek Palow made it 3-1 two minutes after Morrison’s goal, and Holden Anderson got the final goal with 13 seconds left. Liam Heckman also scored for Windham.
