ORONO — Police are asking for help from the public in determining the activities Friday night of a young woman whose body was found Saturday in a snowbank in Orono.
Police said alcohol is a likely factor in the death of Alexie Adams, 19, of Orono, whose body was found by a passer-by Saturday morning.
Orono police and the Maine State Police are investigating. Foul play is not suspected.
Adams was not enrolled at the University of Maine, according to a report by WCSH-TV.
The Office of Chief Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
