The U.S. Geological Survey detected a minor earthquake in Willimantic, near Sebec Lake in Piscataquis County, on Sunday evening, WCSH TV reports.
The quake measured magnitude 1.6.
It is the ninth earthquake this year to be centered in Maine. A tenth occurred just over the state line in New Hampshire.
