WELLS — Freeport used a 16-9 scoring advantage in the third quarter Tuesday night and went on to a 52-37 boys’ basketball win over Wells.

Toby Holt had six points in the quarter as Freeport (9-8) added to its eight-point halftime lead.

Holt finished with 29 points for Freeport, and Eriksen Shea contributed 11 points.

Cam Cousins led Wells (11-6) with 14 points and 18 rebounds.

GREELY 55, YORK 47: Logan Bagshaw scored 26 points, connecting on six 3-pointers and the Rangers (17-0) used a 20-11 advantage in the fourth quarter to beat the Wildcats (11-6) at York to extend their win streak to 39 games.

Zach Brown added 10 points for Greely, which outscored York 12-2 in the second quarter to take a 26-18 lead.

York took advantage in the third, outscoring Greely 18-9 to tie the game at 36 going into the fourth. Will MacDonald scored 12 points to lead the Wildcats.

BONNY EAGLE 62, MASSABESIC 50: Zachary Maturo scored 22 points and the Scots (6-11) led 24-13 after the first quarter of a victory over the Mustangs (4-13) in Waterboro.

Connor Sirois added 13 points for Bonny Eagle.

Alexander Schepis’ 17 points led Massabesic, with Isaac DesVergnes adding 16.

SCARBOROUGH 52, THORNTON ACADEMY 41: Nicholas Fiorillo finished with 18 points and Morgan Pratt added 16 to lead the Red Storm (14-4) past the Trojans (7-10) at Scarborough.

CJ LaBreck and Ben Ham paced Thornton Academy with eight and seven points, respectively.

PORTLAND 74, SOUTH PORTLAND 62: Terion Moss scored 26 points to lead the Bulldogs (16-1) over the Red Riots (12-5) in South Portland.

Simon Chadbourne added 23 points for Portland, connecting on seven shots from 3-point range. The Bulldogs led 43-33 at the half.

Noah Malone scored 17 points for South Portland.

SANFORD 56, KENNEBUNK 53: Leyton Bickford scored 20 points to lead the Spartans (5-12) over the Rams (10-7) in Kennebunk.

Sanford got out to an early lead, holding a 20-12 advantage after the first quarter. Chris Lantagne added 14 points.

Cameron Lovejoy scored 17 points for Kennebunk.

EDWARD LITTLE 54, BRUNSWICK 45: Wol Maiwen had 24 points to pace the Red Eddies (13-4) as they opened a 20-9 first-quarter lead and held off the Dragons (11-6) at Brunswick.

Darby Shea knocked down three 3-pointers and finished with 14 points for Edward Little, and Ibn Khalid added 10 points.

Dawson Hebert led Brunswick with 12 points, all from behind the arc, and Colby Bucknam chipped in with 12 points.

WESTBROOK 27, FALMOUTH 25: Jeremiah Alado had six of his eight points in the first quarter as the Blue Blazes (12-5) edged the Yachtsmen (9-8) at Westbrook.

Zac Manoogian led Westbrook with nine points and seven rebounds, and Abier Manyeil added eight points

Nick Hester had a game-high 11 points for Falmouth.

FRYEBURG ACADEMY 44, LAKE REGION 33: The Raiders (8-9) knocked down 11 of 16 from the foul line in the fourth quarter to beat the Lakers (8-9) in Naples.

Scott Parker and Joe Lebrun each scored nine points for Fryeburg, which used an 18-10 advantage in the second quarter to take a 26-17 lead at halftime.

Tristen Chaine, True Meyers and Ethan Chadwick each scored seven points for Lake Region.

NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 50, SACOPEE VALLEY 48: Te’Andre King had 24 of his 34 points in the second half as the Panthers (5-12) got by the Hawks (1-16) at Yarmouth.

King pulled down a game-high 18 rebounds for North Yarmouth Academy.

Tyler Weeks led Sacopee Valley with 17 points and Michael Murphy had a pair of 3-pointers and finished with 12 points.

OXFORD HILLS 74, GARDINER 44: Chris St. Pierre scored a game-high 26 points to lead the Vikings (12-6) in South Paris.

Kyle Johnson and Ben Shaw each scored eight points to lead the Tigers (7-10).

CONY 83, MORSE 58: Amahde Carter scored 20 points and had 12 rebounds to lead the Rams to a victory over the Shipbuilders in Augusta.

Jordan Roddy scored 16 points and had six assists and six steals, and Jake Dacus scored nine points and had eight assists for Cony (12-5).

Parker Onorato scored 25 points for Morse (2-15).

TEMPLE 64, RANGELEY 47: Nikola Kekic scored 25 points to pace Temple to the win in Waterville.

Ilija Ivkovic and Nick Blaisdell each added 10 points for Temple (8-10).

Kyle LaRochelle scored 21 points to lead Rangeley (9-8) while Kenny Thompson chipped in 10.

NOKOMIS 51, LAWRENCE 33: Zach Hartsgrove and Josh Smestad each scored 13 points to lead the Warriors (11-6) in Fairfield.

Gavin Herrin paced Lawrence (6-11) with eight points.

BELFAST 54, WATERVILLE 43: Stanley Sturgis scored a game-high 15 points to lead the Lions to the win in Waterville.

Jason Bartlett added 10 points for Belfast (7-10).

Jack Lloyd scored 14 points to lead Waterville (1-16) and Nicholas Wildhabert, David Barre and Trafton Gilbert each added six points.
