Gorham Savings Bank hired Nicholas Weightman to join its commercial lending team.
Weightman was recently vice president, commercial loan officer at TD Bank. He lives in Cumberland.
Kennebunk Savings named Judy DesMeules as vice president and branch manager of its Wells office.
DesMeules was most recently a branch manager at a New Hampshire area credit union.
Rhonda Hebert also joined Kennebunk Savings as vice president and branch manager of its Lower Village branch in Kennebunk.
Hebert, of Kennebunk, was previously a branch manager and loan officer with another York County savings bank.

Town & Country Federal Credit Union hired Gary Rose as vice president, learning and development.
Rose, of Scarborough, previously held key management positions with TD Bank, Bancnorth Investment Group and State Street Corp.
PROMOTIONS
Katahdin Trust recently promoted Cindy Boot to commercial services officer.
Boot, of Washburn, began her career with Katahdin Trust in 2002 as a teller. Two years later, she transferred to the commercial services department as an assistant, a position she held until 2015, when she was promoted to commercial services specialist.
Bar Harbor Bank & Trust announced that Michelle Curtis was promoted to senior vice president, treasury services sales officer.
Curtis was previously senior vice president, regional market manager. She has been with the bank since 2011.
AWARDS and RECOGNITIONS
TD Bank N.A. recognized two Maine mortgage professionals for number of loans closed for fiscal year 2017.
Kelly Hodgkins and Laura Hiestand were honored for their place in the top 10 percent of loan officers nationwide at TD Bank.
Hodgkins works out of the One Portland Square office in Portland and specializes in wealth clients.
Hiestand covers TD Bank branches from Falmouth to Ellsworth. Both have been mortgage professionals for more than 25 years in Maine.
CERTIFICATIONS
Brad Berthiaume, vice president, financial consultant with Katahdin Financial Services in Houlton, has achieved National Social Security Advisors certificate from the National Social Security Association in Cincinnati.
Berthiaume has more than 15 years of financial services experience and serves the Houlton and Bangor areas.
