Yarmouth senior Luke Laverdiere was named Maine’s Gatorade boys’ Cross Country Runner of the Year Monday. Laverdiere, the Class B state champion this fall and a New England qualifier, also won the award in 2017. Laverdiere went undefeated against in-state competition as a senior and plans to attend and run at Harvard University after graduation.
