SANFORD — Annie L. (Morin) Grant “Jackie,” 75, of Sanford, died on Sunday. Feb. 18, 2018 at Southern Maine Health Care with her loving family by her side.  

Born June 7, 1942 to Willie and Alexandrian (Gagnon) Morin of Biddeford, she attended the Biddeford school system.  On Sept. 29, 1962 she married Maurice Grant at St. Andre’s Church.

She worked as a maid for Sleepy Hollow Motel, at local shoe shops and Quality Leather, and as a housewife for many years.  She spent recent years volunteering at the Stone Soup Food Pantry in Biddeford.  She enjoyed arts and crafts, beano, and spending time with family and joking around.    

Survivors are her husband of 55 years, Maurice Grant of Sanford; her four sisters, Pat Pelletier and her husband George of Saco, Nancy Waterman and her husband Carl of Buxton, Linda Morin of Biddeford and Dorothy Marchand and her husband Phil of Biddeford; her three brothers, William Morin of Rhode Island, Richard Morin and his partner John of Las Vegas and Michael Morin of Saco; her two sisters-in-law Nancy Labrecque and her husband Lee of Saco and Beatrice Janelle of Biddeford; and numerous nieces and nephews.  

In lieu of flowers, those wishing, may make a donation in Annie’s memory to the Stone Soup Food Pantry, 180 Main St, Biddeford ME, 04005.

Visiting Hours will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 24, 2018.  A celebration of Annie’s life will be at 1 p.m. in Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St., Biddeford, ME 04005. Burial will be in St Joseph’s Cemetery in Biddeford.

Arrangements are by Hope Memorial Chapel.
