Rescue crews from several towns and the Maine Warden Service responded Saturday evening to a report that a person had fallen through the ice on Sebago Lake in Casco.
The call for service near Point Sebago came in around 5:30 p.m., according to a dispatcher at the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office.
When rescue crews arrived, they searched for the person who fell through the ice and found him safe and apparently unharmed at a nearby home on Mondor White Road.
Information on how he made it out of the lake and onto dry land was unavailable, the dispatcher said.
