Andrew Yang in February 2018 announced he’s running for the Democratic nomination for president in 2020.

Yang is an entrepreneur and author who founded Venture for America, a national entrepreneurship fellowship, in 2011, according to his campaign website.

Yang advocates for a universal basic income for all adults, to be paid for by a new tax on companies that benefit the most from automation.
