Miranda Hobbes may be going to Albany.

“Sex and the City” star Cynthia Nixon, who played no-nonsense attorney Miranda on the hit HBO series, is eyeing a potential run for governor of New York, according to several reports.

“Many concerned New Yorkers have been encouraging Cynthia to run for office, and as she has said previously, she will continue to explore it,” said Nixon’s publicist, Rebecca Capellan.

Nixon, 51, is said to be mobilizing a campaign by consulting with New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio’s veteran campaign staffers. The actress has been increasingly active at political events and is an outspoken critic of President Trump.
