STANDISH — Joe O’Reilly, Michael Finn and Glenn Dion each scored three goals Thursday as St. Joseph’s topped Southern Maine in men’s lacrosse, 10-6.

The Monks (3-4) used a five-goal run in the third and fourth quarters to pull away from the Huskies (1-4).

Tyler Retalic also scored for St. Joe’s, and O’Reilly and Finn had two assists.

Southern Maine, led by Cam Thibeault with a pair of goals, held a 2-0 lead in the first quarter. Zach Bessette finished with 11 saves.

SOFTBALL

BOWDOIN 9, WASHINGTON & JEFFERSON 1: Andrea Dorsa hit a home run, and Caroline Rice and Allison Rutz added three hits apiece, as the Polar Bears (10-3) handled the Presidents (4-8) at Clermont, Florida.

Rutz pitched a six-hitter with one strikeout and two walks.

Natalie Edwards, Claire McCarthy and Katelyn Cox all had RBI singles.

Washington & Jefferson, paced by Meghan Staab with an RBI double, had the game tied in the second inning.

WOMEN’S LACROSSE

BATES 13, ROGER WILLIAMS 5: Teal Otley scored three goals, and Camille Belletete and Annie Duke added two goals apiece as the Bobcats (4-3) cruised to a 5-0 lead and never looked back to defeat the Hawks (4-2) at Lewiston.

Allison Dewey, Margaret Smith, Summer Dias and Elsbeth Caulo also scored for the Bobcats.

Carly Martin led Roger Williams with two goals.

Eliza Statile made eight saves in the win.

BASEBALL

BOWDOIN SWEEPS KEUKA: Joe Gentile hit a two-run double and Colby Joncas and Brendan O’Neil added RBI singles as the Polar Bears used a four-run fourth inning to erase a two-run deficit and pull away from the Wolves (1-3) in the first game at Keuka Park, New York.

Nick Sadler opened the scoring with an RBI single in the second and Jack Wilhoite added an RBI single in the fifth to make it 5-2.

Austin Zakow homered in the sixth and Brandon Lopez followed with an RBI single in the seventh.

Seamus Keenan pitched an eight-hitter with six strikeouts and two walks. Joncas finished with a single and two RBI.

In the second game, Brandon Lopez had three hits and three RBI as the Polar Bears (6-5) cruised to a four-run lead and dominated the Wolves (1-3), 10-1.

Ben Suski helped with an RBI double and Austin Zakow and Brandon Lopez added RBI singles. Ben Osterholtz pitched a two-hitter with three strikeouts and two walks.
