A commercial airliner had to turn around and return to the Portland International Jetport on Wednesday after its crew reported concerns about cabin pressurization.
Zachary Sundquist, the jetport’s assistant director, said the aircraft was about 15 miles out when the pilots noticed pressurization issues.
The aircraft – Sundquist said he did not know which airline was involved – returned to the jetport around 4:05 p.m.
“It did land safely,” he said.
Sundquist said the passengers were to be transferred to another commercial flight.
