The beauty of Back Cove is in its natural look. I know I have arrived home when I take the walk to admire nature at high tide or low, or watch the grasses blow in the breezes or in a storm. It is a natural delight and need not be marred by a man-made art installation (March 27).

I can imagine this filled with summer revelers, much like the beer tour riders pedaling along the downtown. Keep this area pristine for families, dogs and their owners, walkers old and young and those who love Portland’s natural beauty.
