I got a chance to thank East Brunswick Baptist Church at a Town Council meeting March 19. We need more churches to do what this church did.

A husband and wife who have five young daughters were homeless, but now they have a home due to this church.

As a little girl age 5, I remember the times were so hard. The Mennonite Church gave my mother and us three girls food to eat for several weeks. Dad had committed himself to a local mental health unit because he was suicidal. I remember how afraid I was because my mother had no friends. She had moved from Connecticut to Illinois when she married my dad six years before.

God sent the church to do his work.

So this letter is a thanks to God first and to East Brunswick Baptist Church second for doing God’s work.
