Otto, the popular Maine pizzeria, is continuing to expand with plans to open a restaurant in Saco in June that will be its seventh location in Maine and 13th eatery overall.

The new, 80-seat location at 779 Portland Road will be one of Otto’s biggest restaurants, and is expected to be one of its busiest, company spokesman Eric Shepherd said. The new spot, adjacent to the Cinemagic and IMAX theaters and just across from Funtown Splashtown USA, was previously a Ground Round restaurant.

The Saco Otto will have outdoor patio seating and offer full service, takeout and delivery, Shepherd said. The restaurant will have 12 to 20 beer taps. Shepherd said if all goes according to plan, the restaurant will open sometime in June.

Previously, the Otto that opened off the Portland peninsula at 250 Read Street in October 2016 was the largest. Otto has two other locations in Portland, two in South Portland and one in Yarmouth, as well as six locations in Massachusetts.
