Stephen Ouellette, the athletic director at Gardiner Area High, and Sun Journal sports reporter Randy Whitehouse were among many who received recognition at the April 5 Maine Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association’s annual spring conference.

Martin Ryan Award of Excellence: Gary Stevens, Thornton Academy.

Gerald Durgin Leadership Award: Craig Sickels, Freeport.

NIAAA State Award of Merit: Don King, CAA, Poland Regional.
