Today, the issues of safety from sexual assault, abuse and all forms of violent crime are at the forefront of our minds and our hearts. There is violence here in our own community as well as on the national news every day. We in Cumberland County need a strong district attorney who will combat violence and work to keep people safe at home and in the workplace.
I have known Frayla Tarpinian for more than 10 years and have come to respect her as a person of great integrity and responsibility. She has experience as both a defense attorney and as an assistant district attorney, and has dedicated her life to combating domestic violence, sexual assault and elder abuse.
Having a district attorney who will effectively and aggressively fight sexual assault is important to me because I hope never to witness another friend or loved one struggle to reclaim the confidence and security that are stolen by the perpetrators of these crimes.
Frayla will work tirelessly to protect our families and our community. I hope you will join me in supporting Frayla Tarpinian for district attorney of Cumberland County in the June 12 Democratic primary.
