NORTH BERWICK — Jacob Lacroix had two hits and two RBI and Noble rallied for three runs in the bottom of the seventh for a 7-6 baseball win over Bonny Eagle on Tuesday.

Owen Podolec, Bryce Cantin, and Will Shapleigh each had an RBI for Noble (5-2).

Tyler Fitz led Bonny Eagle (4-3) with two hits and two RBI, and Casey Maturo added three hits, and Greg Emerson drove in two runs.

PORTLAND 4, SCARBOROUGH 2: William Snyder and Don Tocci scored twice as Portland (3-4) edged the Red Storm (5-1) in Scarborough.

Snyder singled home Tocci and then scored on Benjamin Sawyer’s groundout for a 2-0 lead in the fourth. The Bulldogs doubled the lead in the sixth when Camren King singled home Snyder and Tocci scored on a wild pitch.

Scarborough threatened in the bottom of the seventh, loading the bases with no one out. Nick Martin and Morgan Pratt scored when Jack Clark’s grounder was thrown away.

Kings had with three hits for Portland, and Pratt two for Scarborough.

THORNTON ACADEMY 6, FALMOUTH 4: The Golden Trojans (5-2) scored four runs in the sixth inning to get past the visiting Yachtsmen (3-4) at Saco.

Brogan Searle-Belanger, Cameron Cross, Cameron Seymour, Kolby Lambert and Jacob LaPlume each had an RBI for the Golden Trojans.

Sam Kidder had two hits and scored a run for Falmouth.

SOUTH PORTLAND 8, GORHAM 3: Noah McHugh and Anthony Poole each drove in two runs as the Red Riots (5-2) scored eight runs in the bottom of the third inning to defeat the Rams (4-2) at South Portland.

Zach Johnson and Jake Poole each had two hits and an RBI.

Trevor Loubier had two hits, including a double for Gorham.

CHEVERUS 11, WESTBROOK 1: Maxx St. John had two doubles, a triple, three RBI and two runs scored to lead the Stags (2-4)over the Blue Blazes (1-6) in a six-inning win at Portland.

Nathaniel Lapoint had two hits and two RBI for Cheverus, including a two-run single in the fourth inning to break the game open.

Justin Coppeta had two hits and scored Westbrook’s run.

SOFTBALL

KENNEBUNK 20, SOUTH PORTLAND 7: Emily Hogue slammed a three-run double and Lindsey Gregoire a two-run double as Kennebunk (5-4) scored 12 unearned runs during the second inning to take a 14-4 lead over the Red Riots (5-4) during a game shortened to five innings in South Portland.

Lydia Howarth, who had an RBI single in the second and later added a home run, had with four hits for the Rams.

BIDDEFORD 15, WINDHAM 3: Chantel Perreault had three hits and drove in six runs, and Taylor Wildes added three hits and three RBI to lift the Tiger (5-3) past the Eagles (4-2) at Biddeford.

Erin Elder and Alex Morang both had two hits and an RBI for Windham.

Brook Davis had three hits for Biddeford, which had 12 hits.

SCARBOROUGH 12, SANFORD 0: Hunter Greenleaf drove home six runs with a pair of home runs, including a grand slam, to power the Red Storm (8-0) past Sanford (1-8) over five innings in Scarborough.

Isabella Dickinson led off the game for Scarborough with a homer. Greenleaf followed with a two-run blast later in the inning for a 3-0 lead after one. The Red Storm tacked on a run in the second before putting the game away with a seven-run third highlighted by Greenleaf’s bases-load shot.

Mia Kelley held the Spartans to three hits over the first four innings. Dickinson pitched a two-strikeout hitless fifth to complete the shutout.

YARMOUTH 15, YORK 0: Sophie McGrath had a pair of singles and scored four times as the Clippers (2-3) took advantage of 11 walks and 10 errors by York (3-4) to win a five-inning game in Yarmouth.

McGrath also had an RBI single as Yarmouth scored five times in the bottom of the fourth to invoke the mercy rule.

Ceanne Lyon pitched three hitless innings for Yarmouth, striking out two and walking none. Tasha Powers started the fourth and promptly lost the no-hitter on a leadoff single by Abbi Kavanagh. Powers finished the game, striking out four and walking one.

MASSABESIC 8, MARSHWOOD 3: Grace Tutt was 3 for 4 with two RBI and two runs scored to lead the Mustangs (5-3) past the Hawks (2-4) at Waterboro.

Massabesic’s Cay Morris was 2 for 3 with two RBI and two runs scored. Tutt struck out seven and allowed three earned runs over seven innings.

Lauren Leidemann-Smith had two hits and scored a run for Marshwood.

GIRLS’ LACROSSE

FREEPORT 18, NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 8: Taylor Rinaldi led the Falcons (3-2) with five goals and two assists, and Taylor Dotsie added five goals and an assist in a win over the Panthers (2-4) at Yarmouth.

Chloe Davidson had four goals and an assist for Freeport.

Helen Hamblet had three goals and Bella MacMahon added two for NYA.

GREELY 8, YORK 6: Jayme Morrison scored three goals and Courtney Sullivan added two goals and two assists for the Rangers (5-1) in a win over the Wildcats (3-3) at Cumberland.

Hannah Perfetti made 10 saves for Greely, which scored all its goals in the first half.

Lila Reinertson led York with two goals.

MONDAY’S BASEBALL

OCEANSIDE 9, MT. VIEW 5: Joey Curtis and Zach Cody each drove in two runs, and the Mariners (6-1) used a five-run third inning to get by the Mustangs (2-6) in Thorndike.

Noah Jacobs had two hits and drove in two for Mt. View.

LAKE REGION 12, POLAND 7: Tristen Chaine’s four hits to lead the Lakers (4-4) over Poland (1-6) in Naples.

True Meyers added a pair of hits for Lake Region and Brady Downing had two hits for the Knights.
