I am the founder and owner of Freedom House LLC in Portland, a housing organization dedicated to helping people struggling with drugs, mental illness and homelessness become part of a safe and supportive community.
Mark Dion spent 32 years making sure that the Portland police and the Cumberland County Jail met the needs of our community. Since Mark got to the State House in 2010, he’s been one of the legislators I trust most to stand up for the rights of the people I serve.
A lot of the folks I work with are vulnerable and could easily get hurt if the services they depend on were to change. Mark gets it, and if he’s elected, I’m confident mental health services in Maine will improve. Please join me in voting for him for governor in the Democratic primary on June 12.
