WINDHAM — Megan Joy doubled home the go-ahead run and scored on Taylah Piazza’s single as Windham scored three times in the bottom of the fifth inning to top Marshwood 7-6 in softball on Thursday.

Lauren Talbot doubled to start the rally, and came home with the tying run on Chloe Wilcox’s hit.

Talbot, Wilcox and Piazza had two hits each for the Eagles (7-5).

Lauren Leidemann-Smith had two doubles for the Hawks (4-9).

MORSE 20, FREEPORT 2: Marissa Parks hit a two-run double and Kali Pierce and Moriah Albertson added RBI singles as the Shipbuilders (9-4) used an eight-run fifth inning to pull away from the Falcons (2-10) at Freeport.

Parks finished with four hits and two RBI, and scored twice. Pierce and Albertson had three hits apiece.

FRYEBURG ACADEMY 13, YORK 1: Morgan Fusco hit three doubles, a triple and had three RBI, and Kaylee Emery added a single, a double and three RBI as the Raiders (9-3) handled the Wildcats (3-8) at Fryeburg.

Caroline Condon, Grace Condon and Courtney Dutton all added an RBI double.

Kathryn Tetreault hit an RBI double for York.

OXFORD HILLS 7, CONY 3: Kenzie Heikkinen and Kori Kahkanen each doubled as the Vikings (9-1) topped the Rams (2-8) at South Paris.

Olivia Gallon added a triple for Oxford Hills.

Gaby McGuire and Angela Velazquez each doubled for Cony.

TEMPLE 11, VALLEY 9: Jaimee Feugill had four hits, including a triple, and drove in four runs to help Temple (2-8) top Valley at Waterville.

Arielle Gott had two hits and an RBI for Temple.

Kendra Sweet tripled and drove in a pair for Valley.

LACROSSE

BIDDEFORD 16, BONNY EAGLE 9: Peyton McKeown scored five goals and Abby Allen four in leading the Tigers (7-2) past Bonny Eagle (2-6) in Biddeford.

McKeown and Allen each had an assist, with Paige Laverriere, Grace Boisvert and Megan Mourmouras each scoring twice.

Jenna Litif led the Scots with four goals and Lexi Theberge had three.

Ella McKenzie made 10 saves for the Tigers; Samantha Dery made nine for the Scots.

MASSABESIC 10, WINDHAM 3: Hallie Benton scored four goals, Maddie Drain had a hat trick and Lydia Wasina turned away 12 shots as the Mustangs (8-0) cruised to a 6-1 halftime lead over the Eagles (4-3) at Windham.

Morgan Pike, Logan Chamlin and Cam Champlin also scored.

Belle Skvorak scored two goals for Windham. Grace Sawyer made 19 saves.

WAYNFLETE 15, WELLS 2: Izzy Burdick’s five goals and five assists paced the Flyers (5-2) during a victory over Wells (1-6) in Portland.

Kanha Stockford added four goals and an assist for Waynflete, and Anna Wildes two goals and an assist. Kylie Belanger and Megan Schneider each scored for the Warriors.

Flyers goalie Avis Akers, and Wells’ Anna Gould each stopped eight shots.

CHEVERUS 18, SANFORD 2: Bella Booth scored five goals and Mackenzie Johnston four to power the Stags (3-4) past Sanford (0-7) in Portland.

Kathryn Griffiths added three goals for Cheverus, and Zoe Mazur had two goals and an assist.

Catherine Works and Lauren LaPierre scored for the Spartans.
