Two people had to be transported to a New Hampshire hospital after the car they were riding in crashed Thursday afternoon near the intersection of Route 4 and Blackberry Hill Road in Berwick.
Berwick police said the individuals were transported to Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover, New Hampshire for treatment of what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries.
One of the passengers had to be extricated from the wreckage by local fire crews. The accident took place around 3:30 p.m.
