WELLS — Cam Cousins hit a double and a home run, and pitched Wells to a 4-2 victory against Cape Elizabeth in a Western Maine Conference baseball game Friday.

Cousins (6-0) struck out three with no earned runs over six innings, and put Wells (10-1) ahead 1-0 in the first with a homer.

The Capers (8-4) took a 2-1 lead in the fifth on an RBI groundout by Ryan Weare, and another run scored on an error.

Wells rallied to score three runs in the sixth, including Matt Tufts’ two-run, go-ahead single.

BIDDEFORD 2, BONNY EAGLE 0: Colin Lavigne drove in Logan Magnant with a fifth-inning single to break a scoreless tie as the Tigers (7-5) edged the Scots (4-7) at Biddeford.

Hunter Demeule scored on a wild pitch later in the inning.

Owen Sullivan pitched a three-hit shutout, striking out six.

Connor Sirois of Bonny Eagle allowed two runs on three hits, striking out four.

CHEVERUS 10, NOBLE 5: Justin Ray had three hits and four RBI, including a two-run single in the fifth inning to give the Stags (7-5) an 8-4 lead against the Knights (6-6) at North Berwick.

Ray struck out seven in 4 2/3 innings to pick up the win.

Chris Cimino and Griffin Watson each had three hits, and Maxx St. John drove in a pair of runs for Cheverus.

Jacob Lacroix had two hits and two RBI for Noble.

GREELY 2, LINCOLN ACADEMY 0: Will Neleski pitched a three-hit shutout, striking out nine and walking one as the Rangers (8-5) beat the Eagles (2-10) at Cumberland.

Neleski had an RBI single to drive in A.J. Eisenhart and Nate Cyr added a run in the fourth, delivering Eben Kiesow with a single.

Bradley Cross and Sullivan Fink had doubles for Lincoln Academy.

YARMOUTH 2, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 1: Aaron Hickey drove in two runs to lead the Clippers (7-4) over the Patriots (7-5) at Yarmouth.

Hickey hit an RBI double in the second inning and drove in a run with a single in the fourth. Toby Burgmaier (2-0) earned the win, allowing one hit with five strikeouts in six innings. John Romano got the save, striking out two.

Josiah Rottari had two hits for Gray-New Gloucester, which scored on an error in the sixth.

SANFORD 4, SCARBOROUGH 3: Ryan Connarton led off the bottom of the seventh inning with a double, advanced on a Nick Liston fielder’s choice, then scored the winner on an infield error as the Spartans (4-7) edged the Red Storm (6-6) at Sanford.

Nate Martineau led Sanford with three hits. Josiah Scott added two and Jared Scarpelli chipped in with a double.

Brian Austin and Nolan Lamontagne each had two hits for Scarborough.

GORHAM 6, PORTLAND 3: Nolan Brown and Ben Nelson each had three hits, and the Rams (6-4) scored three runs in the fifth inning to take a 6-2 lead against the Bulldogs (9-2) at Portland.

Nelson and David Drew hit RBI singles in the fifth.

Lucas Roop and William Prescott each added two hits for Gorham.

Camren King had three hits, including an RBI double in the fourth for Portland.

YORK 8, OLD ORCHARD BEACH 0: Jake Sullivan threw six shutout innings, and the Wildcats (5-7) broke the game open with a seven-run fifth to get past the Seagulls (4-8) at Old Orchard Beach.

Sullivan struck out seven and allowed nine hits, and Riley Linn drove in four runs for York.

Matt Doody, Mark Johnston and Ryun Hogan each had two hits for Old Orchard.

TRAIP ACADEMY 15, BUCKFIELD 5: The Rangers (8-3) scored eight runs in the seventh inning to pull away from the Bucks (5-4) at Buckfield.

Hunter Sawtelle doubled twice and drove in two runs, and Jacob Farnham singled twice in the seventh, scoring both times for Traip, which led 7-5 heading into the inning.

Ryan Perkins added three hits to go with two RBI for the Rangers.

WINDHAM 2, KENNEBUNK 1: Chris Naylor struck out five to lead the Eagles (8-4) over the Rams (3-8) at Kennebunk.

Caleb McCartney put Windham ahead 1-0 with an RBI double in the third inning and Matt Smith added an RBI single in the fourth.

OCEANSIDE 16, WINSLOW 6: The Mariners (10-2) scored five runs in the first and six in the second, defeating the Raiders (1-12) in five innings at Winslow.

MADISON 41, WISCASSET 0: Evan Bess, Evan Holzworth and Jacob Atwood all had four hits as Madison/Carrabec (7-5) defeated Wiscasset (0-12) at Madison.

YARMOUTH 11, SCARBOROUGH 8: Anders Corey scored four goals for the Clippers (8-1), who took a 6-2 halftime lead and beat the Red Storm (1-7) at Scarborough.

Gavin Hamm added three goals for Yarmouth.
