FREEPORT — Bryce Micklon homered and was 3 for 4 with four RBI and three runs scored to lift Fryeburg Academy to a 14-12 win over Freeport in a Western Maine Conference baseball game Wednesday.

Dawson Jones added two hits and three RBI for Fryeburg (8-6), which scored eight runs in the fourth to erase a 10-3 deficit.

Shea Wagner and Toby Holt homered for Freeport (10-4). Wagner went 4 for 6 with four runs and three RBI, while Holt had three RBI and two runs.

GORHAM 6, MASSABESIC 5: Will Prescott led off the bottom of the eighth with a walk and scored on a bases-loaded walk to Lucas Roop as the Rams (9-4) beat the Mustangs (2-11) in Gorham.

Massabesic trailed 4-2 in the top of the seventh but strung together five consecutive singles and took a 5-4 lead when Tyler Lambert hit an RBI single.

Trevor Loubier singled home the tying run in the bottom of the seventh.

SOUTH PORTLAND 4, FALMOUTH 2: Hunter Owen drove home Jake Poole with the go-ahead run on a sacrifice fly in the sixth inning, and the Red Riots extended their winning streak to nine games with a win over the Yachtsmen (7-8) at Falmouth.

South Portland (12-2) led 2-0 after three innings, but Will Bopp and Marcus Cady each hit an RBI single in the fourth.

WELLS 9, YARMOUTH 3: The Warriors (13-2) scored six unearned runs in the top of the sixth to get past the Clippers (7-8) in Yarmouth.

Matt Tufts hit a two-run single during the decisive rally. Gary Andrews added three hits.

John Romano, Jackson Caruso and Dominic Morrill each had two hits for Yarmouth.

TRAIP ACADEMY 12, OLD ORCHARD BEACH 10: Isaac Keefe hit a two-out, two-run single in the top of the seventh to drive home the tying and go-ahead runs as the Rangers (9-4) beat the Seagulls (5-9) in Old Orchard Beach.

Shane MacNeill had three hits, and Ryan Perkins scored four runs for Traip.

Mark Johnston and Sean Pratt each had two hits for OOB.

CAPE ELIZABETH 3, ST. DOMINIC 1: Carson Sullivan threw a three-hitter, Val Murphy doubled and drove in a run, and the Capers (10-4) held on to beat the Saints (9-5) in Auburn.

Brendan Tinsman added two hits for Cape.

OCEANSIDE 10, CAMDEN HILLS 2: Jack Freeman doubled twice and drove in three runs, Titus Kaewthong had a triple and two singles, and the Mariners (12-2) beat the Windjammers (2-12) in Rockport.

Oceanside scored four runs in the first inning and three in the second to take a 7-0 lead.

Braden Fisher had two hits and an RBI for Camden Hills.

LACROSSE

PORTLAND 18, BIDDEFORD 9: Reilly O’Brien scored five goals and Mickey Silva added four for the Bulldogs (9-0), who pulled away from a 6-6 halftime tie against the Tigers (1-7) in Biddeford.

Tristan Arcand, Kevin Moore and Sam Gerber each recorded three goals.

Tyler LaFlamme led Biddeford with four goals, Liam Turner added three and Colby Plante chipped in with two.

WINDHAM 22, NOBLE 1: Tyler Woolston led the Eagles (8-1) with seven goals, and Travis Brown, Grant Jacobson and Tom Lekouski each had three goals in a win over the Knights (0-8) at North Berwick.

CAPE ELIZABETH 8, YARMOUTH 2: Sam Dresser scored three goals and Phillip Tarling added two as the Capers (7-3) beat the Clippers (8-2) at Yarmouth.
