POLAND — Michael Wrigley lined a 3-1 pitch for a three-run homer to drive in Cam Cousins and Tyler Bridge, who singled ahead of him in the first inning, as Wells topped Poland 11-3 Friday in baseball.

Bridge was 4 for 5 to lead Wells (13-2), which had 17 hits. Wrigley went 3 for 4 and drove in four.

The Knights are 1-14.

YORK 17, LAKE REGION 5: Shane Pidgeon hit a three-run homer and the Wildcats (8-7) cruised to victory over the Lakers (5-10) in York.

Timothy MacDonald hit a two-run homer for York in the second inning, and also hit a double. Pidgeon had four RBI, and Riley Linn finished with three RBI. Dawson Gundlah had with four hits.

Jake Sullivan (3-1) earned the win, allowing two hits and one earned run with five walks.

True Meyers and Isaac Holland each had an RBI single for Lake Region.

TRAIP ACADEMY 25, WAYNFLETE 2: Hunter Sawtelle hit a grand slam and the Rangers (11-4) defeated the Flyers (1-11) in five innings in Portland.

Sam Kilty added three hits and three RBI for Traip Academy, which led 9-2 in the second inning and added 16 runs across the fourth and fifth innings.

Charlie Driscoll (1-0) earned the win, pitching three scoreless innings of relief with six strikeouts. He added two singles.

Max Winson had two hits for Waynflete, recording a double and scoring a run.

RICHMOND 19, VALLEY 0: The Bobcats scored 10 runs in the second inning en route to the win in Richmond.

Justin Vachon pitched a perfect game with eight strikeouts for Richmond (13-0). Nate Kendrick drove in four runs.

Valley dropped to 1-11.

OCEANSIDE 8, LINCOLN ACADEMY 5: Logan Sheridan had four RBI to lead the Mariners (13-2) over the Eagles (3-12) in Rockland.

Sheridan hit a bases-loaded double to tie the game at 3-3 in the third inning, and later added an RBI single. Titus Kaewthong hit a two-run double in the fourth.

Michael Dougherty earned the win, allowing two unearned runs in 32/3 innings, and added an RBI single.

DEERING 8, SCARBOROUGH 6: Omer Contreras scored twice to lead the Rams (4-6) over the Red Storm (2-8) in Scarborough.

Jonah Peterson and Zach Harvey each had a goal and two assists for Deering. Max Morrione had 17 saves.

Nathan Taggart had two goals for Scarborough, and Ben Hughes stopped 11 shots.

SOUTH PORTLAND 14, GORHAM 7: David Fiorini scored five goals with two assists to lead the Red Riots (6-4) over the Rams (4-6) in South Portland.

Cooper Mehlhorn added four goals for South Portland, which used a 5-0 second-quarter advantage to head into halftime with an 8-3 lead.

Aidan Schifano and Charles Cronin each had two scores, and Quinn Watson stopped six shots.

Connor Dougherty and Benjamin Nault both scored twice for Gorham, and Joseph Hepler had 11 saves.
