Maine is fortunate to have so many people of good character and work ethic who are willing to give of themselves by serving our communities in elected positions. Jon Gale is one of those people: a servant leader we can trust. I am writing to encourage Cumberland County voters to support Jon Gale for district attorney.
I have known Jon for 25 years and can say without hesitation or qualification that he will make a great district attorney. Jon is a thoughtful person, committed to an examination of what constitutes a fair and just society while never losing sight of protecting the interests of crime victims.
The administration of criminal justice in Cumberland County is best served by someone who is collaborative, yet has the ability to articulate a clear vision. Jon Gale is one of those people: a communicative and inclusive leader. As district attorney, he will focus on the root causes of criminal activity and will do so having not only the experience of prosecuting cases from Aroostook County to York County, but also with the perspective of a seasoned criminal defense attorney.
I urge you to support his election to Cumberland County district attorney and vote for him in the June 12 Democratic primary.
