Bob Winn is running for re-election to the Ogunquit Select Board. He has already dedicated quite a few years to serving the town that he has called home for his entire life, and yet people say the town still needs him, and so he will run again.

It is with a deep sense of pride that I say those last few words, “and so he will run again.” This is the essence of the man I consider to be my best friend, a selflessness and a compassion for others beyond compare. He has given countless hours to volunteering for the community he cares for so strongly, including felling trees for a new public path, timing races on the beach, and relocating seals reported along the beach and Marginal Way for Marine Mammals of Maine. Those are just a few of the ways that he has shown his care and dedication.

Knowing Bob for nearly 20 years, I can say with a high level of confidence and expertise that he is a man of infinite integrity and conviction.

Once again Bob Winn is the right choice for the Ogunquit Select Board. When re-elected, he will continue to serve his community with acts of giving and kindness, and he will continue to ask questions, listen to people’s thoughts and concerns and be a voice for our community. He will continue to be a man I am proud to call my friend.
