I am writing to recommend and endorse Rubin Segal, a Portland native and lifelong resident, as our next judge of probate for Cumberland County.

I have known Rubin since our Portland High School days in the 1960s, when Rubin led our Class of 1966 as valedictorian, yearbook co-editor and business manager, Math Club president and Debate Council and Key Club member as well as a talented musician whose piano playing could bring tears, joy and smiles to all.

Rubin continued his education at Bowdoin, Duquesne University and the University of Maine School of Law. He has practiced law in Portland for 30 years and has an exemplary knowledge of the law and the temperament and sensitivity needed to serve, especially in the areas of child protection, mental health, guardianship, wills and estates.

Rubin is observant in his faith, an active member of his community synagogue, community volunteer and the father of two adult sons. Please vote for Rubin Segal in the June 12 Democratic primary.
