PORTLAND — The installation of a new storm drain will require closing Baxter Boulevard between Forest Avenue and the Preble Street Extension nightly for three weeks.

City spokeswoman Jessica Grondin said the 7 p.m.-7 a.m. closure began Tuesday for installation of new wastewater and stormwater drainage in the Bedford Street area.

Drivers will be detoured along Preble Street Extension.
