What’s up with the Portland Press Herald’s lack of coverage of the Deering High School graduation?
In the print newspaper last Friday, the front page had a small photo of one student helping another with his gown, which said “Deering’s Big Day” and “Read more in Local/B1.” Turning to B1, there was another photo, captioned “Three Cheers” and showing three audience members.
That was it. Where was the article? Where was the opportunity to “read more”? There was no article. There was no opportunity to read about this amazing high school and the students’ tremendous achievements.
How disappointing.
