Kyle Hart allowed six hits in seven shutout innings, and the Portland Sea Dogs defeated the Bowie Baysox 4-0 at Bowie, Maryland, on Saturday night for a third straight win.

Daniel McGrath allowed one hit over the final two innings for Portland (25-41).

Jeremy Rivera and Chad De La Guerra scored in the third inning when Josh Ockimey’s infield single was thrown away. Jordan Betts added a sacrifice fly later in the inning, and Luke Tendler homered in the fourth.

Bowie fell to 29-36.

TENNIS

STUTTGART OPEN: Roger Federer defeated Nick Kyrgios 6-7 (2), 6-2, 7-6 (5) to book his place in the final at Stuttgart, Germany, and reclaim the No. 1 ranking from Rafael Nadal.

Federer will play Milos Raonic as he bids for his 18th grass-court title.

Raonic earlier hit 19 aces and saved the only break point he faced as he beat defending champion Lucas Pouille 6-4, 7-6 (3) in the other semifinal.

NOTTINGHAM OPEN: Johanna Konta overcame a rain delay and defending champion Donna Vekic 6-2, 6-3 to reach the final at Nottingham, England, for the second straight year. She’ll play top-seeded Ashleigh Barty, who beat Naomi Osaka, 6-3 6-4.

QUEEN’S CLUB: Andy Murray confirmed he will make his return to competitive tennis at the tournament next week after almost a year out injured.

Murray has not played since last year’s Wimbledon because of a hip injury and subsequent surgery.

LPGA: Anna Nordqvist and Lee-Anne Pace each shot 8-under 64 to share the third-round lead in the Meijer LPGA Classic at Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Nordqvist and Pace each birdied four of the first five holes and two of the last three – each making 20-footers on the par-4 18th – in their bogey-free rounds at Blythefield. They were at 18-under 198.

ROAD RACING

MOUNT WASHINGTON ROAD RACE: Cesare Maestri of Borgo Lares, Italy, became the first European to win the annual race in New Hampshire.

Maestri, 24, pulled away from three-time winner Eric Blake at the halfway point of the 7.6-mile race to the 6,288-foot summit of Mount Washington. He finished in 1 hour, 53 seconds. Blake, of West Hartford, Connecticut, was second in 1:01:53.

Kim Dobson of Eagle, Colorado, won the women’s race for the fifth time in as many attempts. Her time of 1:11:43 was seventh-best among all finishers. Heidi Caldwell of Craftsbury Common, Vermont, finished second.

BASKETBALL

NBA: Authorities say Sacramento Kings forward Zach Randolph’s brother was shot and killed early Saturday outside of a bar in the Indiana city where the two grew up.

Police said an officer heard gunfire at around 5 a.m. and found Roger Randolph bleeding outside of Hop’s Blues Room in Marion, about 60 miles northeast of Indianapolis. They said investigators don’t know the circumstances surrounding the shooting.

HOCKEY

NHL: The Arizona Coyotes traded forward Max Domi to the Montreal Canadiens for Alex Galchenyuk in an exchange of young, talented players late Friday night.

The 23-year-old Domi had 18 goals and 34 assists as a rookie in 2015-16, but his production dipped the past two seasons. The 24-year-old Galchenyuk has eclipsed 20 goals twice for Montreal, including a career-high 30 in 2015-16.
