PORTLAND — City police found Katharine “Katy” Kinney, 36, last seen June 14 safe and unharmed on Wednesday night.
Police Lt. Robert Martin said Kinney’s family was alerted, but police gave no details on where she was found or what had occurred since she was last seen leaving Maine Medical Center around 11 a.m. on June 14.
Family and friends had been concerned as Kinney left the hospital with little money and without her cell phone.
“We would like to thank everyone who spread her picture and story on social media during the last 24 hours. It produced several valuable calls to the detectives working on this case,” Martin said.
