Cape Elizabeth police are investigating two nighttime burglaries that occurred this week in the Oakhurst Road neighborhood off Shore Road.
In each case, a resident interrupted the burglary and the intruder fled, police said. Nothing was reported stolen in either incident.
The suspect was 5 feet 9 inches tall and wore dark clothing, including a long-sleeved shirt and long pants, police said.
Police urged town residents to lock doors and activate security lighting.
