Time to just get real, folks (by “folks,” I am referring especially to Sen. Angus King and Sen. Susan Collins).

When can we expect one of our elected lawmakers (and wouldn’t it be nice if it were someone from Maine?) to simply stand on the Senate floor, recount the many ways that Russia is in fact our enemy, the many ways that Donald Trump has excused and cosseted Russia and then simply read from the U.S. Constitution, Article III, Section 3? The first sentence of this section: “Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort.”

“… Giving (our enemies) aid and comfort.” Hmmm … Has anyone been doing that? Hmm …

Maybe it is time to start using the T-word, not for Trump, but for his treason. Let’s call it what it seems to be.
