ANAHEIM, Calif. — Mike Trout drove in a teammate for the first time in more than a month, homering to cap a seven-run burst in seventh inning for the Los Angeles Angels in a 14-5 rout of the Houston Astros on Sunday.

Trout hit his 26th home run, a drive off Chris Devenski that followed Andrelton Simmons’ single. Trout’s only RBI since June 19 had been solo homers off Baltimore’s David Hess on June 29 and against the Dodgers’ Ross Stripling on July 7.

MARINERS 8, WHITE SOX 2: Ryon Healy hit a pair of three-run homers for a career-best six RBI in Seattle’s victory at home.

Healy homered in a five-run first off Reynaldo Lopez (4-8) and in the eighth against Hector Santiago, giving him 20 homers and 53 RBI this season.

RANGERS 5, INDIANS 0: Rougned Odor drove in three runs, Ryan Rua hit a two-run homer and the Rangers withstood the heat on a 108-degree afternoon at Arlington, Texas, to beat Cleveland and stop a four-game losing streak.

BLUE JAYS 5, ORIOLES 4: Yangervis Solarte hit a go-ahead, two-run homer in the eighth and Toronto rallied from a three-run deficit to complete a three-game sweep at home and improve to 9-1 against the Orioles.

ROYALS 5, TWINS 3: Drew Butera hit a tiebreaking, three-run inside-the-park home run when center fielder Jake Cave failed in his attempt to make a diving catch in the seventh inning, and host Kansas City completed its first series sweep since last July 24-26.

NATIONAL LEAGUE

DODGERS 11, BREWERS 2: Matt Kemp hit two solo homers and Manny Machado drove in his first run since joining the Dodgers, who pounded out 15 hits in sending host Milwaukee to its eighth loss in nine games.

PHILLIES, PADRES SPLIT: Vince Velasquez allowed two hits over seven innings and the host Phillies beat San Diego 5-0 in the late game for a doubleheader split.

In the opener, Freddy Galvis had his second straight three-hit game back in Philadelphia and Tyson Ross ended a seven-start winless streak in the Padres’ 10-2 victory.

NATIONALS 6, BRAVES 2: Bryce Harper homered, Max Scherzer struck out seven in six innings and Washington won at home.

Anthony Rendon had two hits for the Nationals, extending his hitting streak to 10 games.

CUBS 7, CARDINALS 2: Jose Quintana pitched seven effective innings, keeping Matt Carpenter in the ballpark and helping Chicago beat visiting St. Louis. Carpenter’s homer streak ended at six games, a single-season record for the Cardinals.

DIAMONDBACKS 6, ROCKIES 1: Zack Greinke allowed two hits and struck out a season-high 13 in eight innings, Nick Ahmed drove in three runs and the Arizona Diamondbacks snapped Colorado’s seven-game winning streak with a victory at Phoenix.

PIRATES 9, REDS 2: Corey Dickerson homered for the fourth time in three days, and Pittsburgh won at Cincinnati for its ninth straight victory.

INTERLEAGUE

ATHLETICS 6, GIANTS 5: Jeurys Familia pitched two scoreless innings to get the win in his Oakland debut, and Marcus Semien scored from second base on Matt Chapman’s infield chopper in the 10th inning to lift the Athletics at home.

Familia, acquired in a trade with the Mets on Saturday, arrived in Oakland about an hour before the game.

RAYS 6, MARLINS 4: Pinch-hitter Daniel Robertson connected for a game-ending grand slam, lifting Tampa Bay over Miami at St. Petersburg, Florida.
