WATERBORO — This fall Chair Yoga is being offered at the Waterboro Public Library from 2:30 to 3:15 p.m. beginning Tuesday, Sept. 11.

Cindy Simon will teach you stretches, yoga positions, tai chi exercises, and deep breathing while you are seated in a chair or standing using a chair for support if needed. This program is great for seniors and people wanting to get back in shape, and anyone with physical limitations or any sort of chronic health issues. Future dates are Oct. 9, Nov. 13, and Dec. 11, each running from 2:30 to 3:15 p.m.

Cindy Simon holds a Master’s degree, a national certification in counseling and is a Reiki Master. Cindy has done a wide range of program development. Cindy teaches classes/workshops and counsels individuals in health and wellness and writing; including such topics as meditation, yoga therapy, macrobiotics-ish diet, yoga mudras, healthy living, creative writing, novel writing, travel writing, journal writing, and senior exercise classes.
