Caren-Marie Michel’s painting “Dana Warp 7” is one of the pieces created by local artists last week during the annual Paint Westbrook. Event organizer Mary Brooking said 23 artists created 29 paintings, the biggest output in the event’s four-year history. The paintings on are on display at Continuum for Creativity through Oct. 13.

Artists line the Presumpscot River to capture the what they see on the painting canvas as part of Paint Westbrook, the city’s annual plein air painting event. 

Andy Curran used Walker Memorial Library for inspiration during the city’s Paint Westbrook event Saturday, Sept. 8. The paintings have been sold to the library, but will, along with the other paintings, hang at Continuum for Creativity through Oct. 13.
