KENNEBUNK — All local nonprofit organizations are invited to participate in the third annual CONNECT fair to be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, in the South Tower at the Livewell Center in Kennebunk.
Hosted by the Chamber of Commerce, Southern Maine Health Care, and the Livewell Center tenants, the fair will feature the nonprofit businesses and services located within Kennebunk, Kennebunkport and Arundel. Admission is free for everyone, and all local nonprofits serving the Kennebunks and Arundel are invited to participate.
New this year, Southern Maine Health Care in conjunction with the fair will hold an open house at its walk-in clinic in the North Tower, which will feature all of its many and diverse practices. Former Celtics player and television analyst Brian Scalabrine will be on hand to sign autographs as part of the festivities.
Designed for both new and longtime residents of any age, the nonprofit fair is also about increasing awareness of the wide variety of services and opportunities available to all ages in the three towns.
Participation for local nonprofits is free with an RSVP on a first-come, first-serve basis at 967-0857 or [email protected].

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
